Avery's First Snow!!!

We were blanketed in a beautiful dusting of snow this weekend, so we bundled Avery up and took her out to see. She's our little snow bunny.

Here we are at the Christmas tree farm near Mt. Vernon. It was really cold and rainy, but Avery was a trooper and we managed to find the perfect tree. Les calls her an Ewok in this outfit.

This picture is from our recent visit with Mimi down in Portland. Avery loves her green bear (mostly to chew on his nose!). The yellow chair was a bit slippery, so she's sitting on a pot holder for traction, but it was still hard to keep her from tipping over. Oh, the photography tricks we are learning! :)

We almost caught a smile...she grins and smiles until we pull out the camera and then she's all business. :)

Looks like she's recovering from a hard day of playing.

Avery with Santa

We went to Alderwood (umm...I mean the North Pole) to introduce Avery to Santa Clause. Santa was so sweet and Avery seemed to enjoy their visit. We were just so glad that she didn't burst into tears!

Here is Avery's first party dress. She was too sweet in her little tights and lace.

Grami spent the morning playing with Avery and was excited to come along for the big event.
