A few new adventures...

Avery is always on the move and less than thrilled with sitting still. So, we've discovered the greatest toy on earth...the JUMPER!!! Aves just adores this thing. She thinks it is the greatest thing to hop - she does the cutest little jumps that are part ballerina, part leaping leprechaun. We've caught some on tape, so I'll have to post the video soon. It keeps us laughing the whole time she's in it!

Ah, Avery's first swimsuit. The smiles ended the second we actually got to the swimming pool. Yikes! Let's just say, they should never schedule a mom and baby swim class in a freezing cold pool filled with screaming kids practicing for swim team. Recipe for disaster. Poor Aves was terrified...although I think I was more traumatized than she was. We'll just stick to the bathtub and save the swimsuit for Mexico in June!!!

A Sunny Day!

Back at Sunset Park...our favorite on a sunny day.

Avery is definitely a sunshine girl! She just loves being outside when it's nice out. We just put out a blanket in the backyard and she's all smiles.

Daddy's little helper!

Lucky for us, Avery LOVES the backpack. It let's us get some much-needed yard work done (not to mention the extra workout it adds) and she seems to think it's pretty entertaining. Plus, after a few minutes she is usually fast asleep from the motion.

Avery's First "School" Pictures

Avery's daycare had "school" pictures a few weeks ago. I never knew class pictures started at 8 months old!

She's making the funniest little smile for the camera! I love it!

Easter at Grami and Papa's

Our girl is already a little book worm...okay, she mostly enjoys the crinkly pages, but it's a start!

After about 100 shots, we finally got one with all of our eyes open, smiling and looking the same direction...well, almost!

Play time! - 7 months old today

Aves is all smiles all the time anymore (even for tummy time, which isn't her favorite). She also loves the camera now, so the second I get it out, she's all grins!

She's getting so good at sitting up on her own...as long as she's surrounded by 100 toys, she's totally happy. :)
